Coronation Street legend Beverley Callard has revealed she’s landed a new £5 per hour job since quitting the cobbles.Best known for playing Rovers Return landlady Liz McDonald, Bev, 65, has admitted she is charging local women £5 a session to teach fitness classes twice a week.Beverley, well known for being a fitness fanatic, has big plans for the dosh though, donating the proceeds to the East Anglian Air Ambulance. Magazine: “So about six weeks into our move to Norfolk, I said to Jon, ‘Right, I’m going to start teaching again.’ I posted an ad on the local village Facebook group, saying I was looking for 25 feisty women to take part in my class.“It didn’t matter what age they were, what shape they were or their fitness level.

I’m not into teaching a class full of stick insects. I just wanted real women."“Within two days, 700 people wanted to do it, which is amazing.

I charge £5 and all the money goes to the East Anglian Air Ambulance.”Bev has previously released work out videos and even taught classes at the height of her fame.The star was an aerobics teacher before she was cast as Angie Richards in Emmerdale in 1983 and popped up on exercise slots on GMTV in the 80s, instructing morning viewers through the mambo and the cha cha cha.The mum-of-two has also released four DVDs, books and held a fitness column in a newspaper but she turned down a permanent gig on the morning show.
