AFTER 15 years of Twitter users begging for an edit button with little success, it took about 15 minutes for the social media company to make a U-turn – once its newest shareholder Elon Musk posted a poll asking if users wanted it.
The website has never had the option to edit tweets, meaning users are forced to delete posts, leave typos up or – in some cases – claim they were hacked.
Twitter has finally announced the edit button is coming, saying it has nothing to do with Musk as they’ve been working on it for a year.
But this lot – including the billionaire SpaceX owner – probably wished they had had it years ago when they tweeted these blunders . . .
