Since then, the Australian boxer has enjoyed taunting Hearn with several more notable moments shared on stage.The most recent came on Thursday, when Bridges wowed the promoter with an impressive display of her language skills.
She can speak five different tongues, and showed one of them off at a press conference ahead of her upcoming fight against Maria Cecilia Roman.She surprised Hearn and the rest of the panel by answering a question in perfect Spanish.
Bridges spoke fluently for around 10 seconds as she gave a short response, but it was enough to capture Hearn's attention as he made a point of turning to stare at her."Great words," he said jokingly, sparking a chuckle from the crowd as he attempted to decipher what the fighter had said. "I'll translate that if you want," he added, before telling the room that she had said: "It's my time, it's my house, you're a great champion, but this is my night."This time it was Bridges' turn to be surprised, as she agreed with the translation that Hearn had offered before they shared a warm smile.
