Lisa Kirkwood, 38, a staff nurse in ward 11 at University Hospital Wishaw, was nominated for our Say It With Flowers award by her loving mum, Cathie Miller.Lisa, from Wishaw, attended Coltness High School and worked in Kirknowe Nursing Home, before studying nursing at Bell College in Hamilton.

She has dedicated her career to her profession and has worked at Wishaw General for over 15 years, firstly based in ward nine, before moving to the stroke unit.Cathie said: “She worked in the care for the elderly unit which she loved.
