Courtney Taylor has always dreamed of having a baby and becoming a mother and, when she was married, tried for many months to conceive naturally.

Sadly, that was not meant to be, and although now she is single Courtney, 23, has a renewed determination to become a mum, no matter what it takes.

Courtney, from Huddersfield, believes that she may need to go down the route of private medical treatment and possibly IVF treatment, Yorkshire Live reports. It means raising up to £12,000, but her family and friends are firmly behind her.Courtney said: "For as long as I can remember, I’ve dreamed of becoming a mummy."After multiple scans, investigations, and tests I was told I have severe PCOS (polycystic ovary syndrome) and that it would be near impossible to get pregnant naturally due to not ever ovulating and my womb not lining."I was heartbroken but continued to try, working around the clock to lose weight, eat healthily, take folic acid, everything you can imagine, I tried."Courtney, who is a student mental health nurse, even managed to lose over five stones in weight after being told this might help her get pregnant, although her own GP concluded that losing weight wasn't going to improve her fertility. She now feels the NHS has "given up" on her and has decided to launch an online appeal for money through a GoFundMe page with a modest goal of £500.Courtney, who has been saving money to help pay for treatment, says: "I don’t want to give up and have decided to book initial fertility scans and go down the private route to get answers once and for all to see if my eggs are viable, and then go down the IVF route."As you can imagine, this process is going to be very very expensive."But you can’t put a price on love and happiness!"
