Niko Price is recovering from a pretty gruesome eye injury after his defeat to Vicente Luque at UFC 249 on Saturday evening.
The welterweight suffered a suspected fracture to his right eye as he was rushed to hospital following his bout. Luque was awarded the fight in round three when doctors ordered the brawl to be ended due to Price's swollen and fully closed eye.
The 30-year-old could not see out of it but remained in good spirits as he congratulated his opponent on the win. Price was rushed to hospital in Jacksonville, Florida to determine the damage of the injury.
The fighter has since shared a snap of his bruised eye, which is heavily stitched and remains closed. "Put me in coach I’m good," he tweeted, alongside the brutal photo.
