Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag has spectacularly snubbed Sky Sports reporter Gary Cotterill before speeding off in a flash Mercedes.

The Dutchman was officially unveiled as United's next permanent appointment on Thursday morning after months on speculation.

The Ajax boss will join on a three-year-deal at the end of the season, succeeding current interim Ralf Rangnick. Ten Hag has remained tight-lipped regarding his future in recent weeks amid an extensive interview process at Old Trafford and, despite a United announcement having now been made, he appears intent on keeping things that way.

Hell-bent on grabbing an exclusive with the new Reds Devils manager, Sky Sports' Cotterill seemingly jetted out to Amsterdam to hear the latest from the 52-year-old, however, the reporter was met with a frosty reception.Video footage circulating online showed Ten Hag arriving at Ajax's De Toekomst training complex on Friday morning ahead of his current side's Eredivisie clash with NEC Nijmegen on Saturday.
