Tributes have been paid to iconic football agent Eric Hall, who has died aged 73. The singer and music publicist was known for his 'monster monster' catchphrase, and represented some of the Premier League's biggest names in the 1990s.
Hall secured Gary Lineker's first ever boot deal, and was agent to the likes of Dennis Wise, Neil 'Razor' Ruddock, Tim Sherwood and Paul Walsh.
He also claimed to be claims to be the first agent ever to have goal and appearance bonuses written into players' contracts.
Hall famously even once had a goal bonus written into Dave Beasant's contract at Newcastle, not realising he was a goalkeeper.
