England team doctor Rob Chakraverty has left his position with the Football Association following revelations about his work with Olympic champion runner Mo Farah.
Dr Chakraverty joined the FA in 2016, and had been working with UK Athletics since 2009, where he last held the position of chief medical officer.
As a senior doctor working with the UK’s top athlete’s, Dr Chakraverty worked with Team GB legend Farah before the 2014 London Marathon.
However, the Sunday Times has revealed how the medical expert failed to properly record the levels of legal supplement L-Carnitine he had infused Farah with.
