In an interview with The Mirror, Phil said: "I hope so! [hosting for the next decade] I certainly have no plans to leave the sofa." He continued: "I never imagined it for a second, in fact, if you’d told me on that day that I’d still be there 20 years later, I wouldn’t have believed you'" Phil's co-star Holly Willoughby announced the news on Tuesday's show.

This Morning bosses are reportedly "scrambling" to secure the return of one of the show's legends. Fern Britton, who presented the show alongside John Leslie and Phillip Schofield between 1999 and 2009 has seen her stock rise since starring on Celebrity Big Brother earlier this year.
