Emmerdale's Paddy Dingle could be set to turn kidnapper as part of a tense new plot in the ITV soap - at least where fans are concerned.

With the chemistry building once more between Charity Dingle and Vanessa Woodfield, fans think Paddy could soon be forced to step in to make things right.And in Monday's (March 14) episode, Charity saw her trail of relationship destruction catch up with her, as she confronted Vanessa about trying to kiss her and attempted to get to grips with boyfriend Mackenzie Boyd asking to move in with her.Mack turned up with the keys already cut, determined to patch things up with his beloved, while chemistry was mounting between Charity and Vanessa instead.Later, he informed her that he'd been offered a taxi driving job in Glasgow and would move back if there was no future between them, but Charity refused to run after him.And now fans think Paddy, who has watched their romance blossom from the start, could bring them together in a rather roundabout way.Taking to Twitter, one viewer suggested: "So I think going forward Paddy should lock Vanessa and Charity in the cellar seeing as he’s been around from day one of their love journey!"They can thrash this out once and for all!
