Restaurants are getting hate from diners who can't get a table due to the Government's half-price Eat Out to Help Out scheme.
The deals, which some outlets have dubbed “Dishy Rishi specials” after they were unveiled by Chancellor Rishi Sunak, are designed at encouraging customers back into food venues.
The hospitality industry is battling back from the near-three month lockdown aimed at curbing the spread of coronavirus. Diners eating at participating restaurants can get 50% off food and soft drinks to a maximum of £10 on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays this month.
