Andi was telling Piers and co host Susanna Reid about bumping into Chancellor Rishi Sunak and chatting to him, with Andi gushing over how friendly the MP was.
Andi told Piers and Susanna that Rishi had told him he had been watching him on Lorraine recently and very much enjoyed it. But scornful Piers denied this was true, telling Andi there was no way Rishi had time to watch Lorraine.
