EASTENDERS legend Michael Greco broke down in tears on Loose Women today as he spoke about his son Gianluca. The Beppe DiMarco actor, 51, became overwhelmed talking about the tot's seven-week stay at Great Ormond Street hospital.
He appeared on the ITV show today with partner Helen Harris and their newborn, who was born in July. Michael ended up describing himself as a "crying wreck" after breaking down while recounting his family's emotional story.
The youngster was born six weeks premature with gastroschisis, a rare genetic disorder when the baby’s abdomen does not develop fully while in the womb.
Speaking about how the hospital had saved his son's life he became tearful and was passed a tissue by Loose Women host Ruth Langsford.
