Eamonn Holmes was tailed and pulled over by police who feared he was a car thief.But the telly host had just got up in the early hours for his new breakfast news show.

Eamonn, 62, said: “They pulled me over on the way into GB News last week, and I was very grateful. “If you’ve been a victim of car theft in the dead of night, you’ll know what I mean. “I was just impressed they took notice – and even more impressed at what an advert they were for young people.”He tweeted: "Pulled over by the #Police on the way into work and delighted to be so."A lot of car thefts in my area and they were just checking that the car I was in wasn't one of them...
