Fans of Cobra Kai will get to see their favorite characters strike first and strike hard sooner than they may have thought.Netflix released a two minute-long trailer for the show's upcoming fifth season and announced a September 9 release date.The first look was originally shown at theCobra Kai: Live & Bad Ass event on Thursday, one of the many events at Netflix Is a Joke: The Festival in Los Angeles.

The titular dojo, led byThomas Ian Griffith's Terry Silver, defeated dojos run by Johnny Lawrence (William Zabka) and Danny LaRusso (Ralph Macchio) at the All-Valley Karate tournament.
