The Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency have issued an update to paper driving licences and log book process times. The changes come as the DVLA face a high volume of enquiries, meaning paper application waiting times are longer than usual.
Encouraging the use of online services, the DVLA explained that there are no delays with online transactions at the moment. This means that if you have applied for your new licence online, you are likely to receive it within the normal time limits.
