King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima of the Netherlands are in social isolation following their family trip to Austria last month.
The reigning monarchs and their three daughters – Princess Catharina-Amalia, Princess Alexia, and Princess Ariane – are bunkering down together after their getaway which was taken with several others of their family.
The Netherlands Government Information Service, also known as the RVD, announced that the family are practicing “social distancing in connection with the coronavirus COVID-19 during their recent winter holiday in Lech, Austria.” The announcement revealed that where they vacationed had “five confirmed corona infections” and they’re isolation is expected to continue until March 21.
