Drugs Consumption Room is still on the road after an insurance wrangle threatened to scupper it.Peter Krykant refused to take his converted Ford Transit mini-bus off the road after his insurers withdrew cover.Now he has negotiated a new deal allowing him to remain on the road.He has also pledged to adapt his methods to stay within the law – allowing him to avoid being arrested.Police have warned he faces being charged if any crimes relating to the Misuse of Drugs Act are committed in his van.Krykant believes that using gazebos or tents that have been bought by several different people may remove any illegality from his service – which seeks to provide safe, clean areas for drug addicts, getting them off dingy streets and reducing drug.
