manchestereveningnews.co.ukA hospital electrician has admitted murdering two women decades before he began carrying out dozens of sex attacks on corpses in mortuaries.
David Fuller, 67, pleaded guilty to murdering Wendy Knell, 25, and Caroline Pierce, 20, in two separate attacks in Tunbridge Wells, Kent, in 1987, the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) said.
On Thursday (November 4), four days into his trial at Maidstone Crown Court, he changed his pleas after initially pleading not guilty to murder on the grounds of diminished responsibility.
The court heard how Fuller sexually assaulted the two women after he had killed them. It can now be reported that ahead of his trial, Fuller pleaded guilty to 51 other offences, including 44 charges relating to 78 identified
