Dog-nappers strike twice in one hour on same street after masked men chase pugs

Pet owners are being urged to be on their guard following the attempted thefts of several dogs in Staffordshire. One dog walker was said to have been left "shaken" after the "scruffy big fella" tried to grab his beloved pooch while they were out for a walk StokeonTrentLive reports.The man was making his way along Church Road, Biddulph, on Wednesday night when a green Ford Focus stopped nearby.The driver then got out and approached the man and his dog before trying to snatch the white-furred Staffordshire bull terrier at around 7.15pm.Another dog owner has also come forward to say the same man targeted her son who was walking his Staffie on the same stretch around 45 minutes earlier.It comes after a number of attempted dog napping incidents.
