Manchester City have progressed to the semi-finals of the Champions League following a tense 0-0 draw against Atletico Madrid but it all ended in controversy as both sides effectively brawled their way to the final whistle - and beyond.City boss Pep Guardiola was pelted with bottles as the teams made their way down the tunnel, Jack Grealish had his hair pulled and police ended up separating players in what was an ugly end to an enthralling European encounter.Anxiety was in the air all evening, and things boiled over when Phil Foden was hacked down by Atletico star Felipe as the clock ticked over into injury time.

A melee ensued when former City man Stefan Savic raced over to the felled Englishman and tried to drag him to his feet.Players from both sides rushed in as the scrapping spilled out towards the stands, prompting coaching staff from both sides to get involved.

Felipe was eventually sent off after receiving a second yellow card for unnecessarily catching Foden on his follow-through but the drama didn't end there.

The Brazilian refused to leave the pitch quietly, and Savic was determined to keep the ugliness going - pulling Grealish's hair, headbutting Raheem Sterling and refusing to leave the officials alone.A jarring 12 minutes of stoppage time was added and despite a couple of late scares, City held on to secure their place in the semi-finals, though the full-time whistle did little to ease tensions.Should UEFA punish Atletico Madrid for their actions tonight?
