Liam Gallagher has spoken out after posting a now-deleted tweet targeting Atletico Madrid footballer Stefan Savic with a death threat, dubbing his behaviour ‘outlandish’.
On Wednesday evening, Savic’s team went up against Manchester City FC – who Gallagher supports – in the Champions League, resulting in a goalless draw.
The drama that ensued on the night extended beyond the pitch, when a brawl broke out between the teams which continued into the tunnel.
Savic was seen grabbing Jack Grealish by the hair during the melee, with police eventually intervening to put an end to the wrestling.
