Dina Asher-Smith has vented her fury at the decision to put off postponing the Olympic Games this summer for another month. The IOC have given themselves a four-week deadline to come to a decision on whether or not to reschedule the Olympics for another time.

The Games are set to go ahead in Tokyo this summer but the growing coronavirus crisis has thrown doubt over the competition.

As more and more countries go into lockdown, it seems optimistic at best to suggest that the event will go ahead. But the IOC have allowed themselves time over what to do next.

The organisation has emphatically denied claims that the Olympics will be cancelled and are instead looking at scaling down the Games or postponing for up to a year.
