It is looking increasingly likely that the Tokyo Olympics will be postponed after the Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe admitted it was an option.
It was the first time that the PM has said that the competition would not go through as planned amid the coronavirus crisis.
The admission follows the announcement of Team Canada, who said they will not travel this summer. Though it is yet to be seen, it could start a domino effect with a number of countries pulling out.
And that would leave Abe with no choice but to delay the Games. Cancelling the event has been strictly ruled out but the Liberal Democratic leader revealed that the Olympics cannot continue without its complete form.
