Hollywood star Dick sported a Spoonful of Sugar sweatshirt from his iconic musical flick Mary Poppins and a pair of navy blue joggers, sporting a leather bag over one shoulder as he made his way into town with his wife, 50.He and wife Arlene Silver were heading to a cute lunch date out in Malibu after heading to the gym as a couple.Arlene rocked a long-sleeved blue top with a navy-and-white striped cropped t-shirt over it, along with ruffled black leggings and a pair of rose gold sunglasses, with a turquoise bag slung across her front.Dick’s sweatshirt, of course, paid homage to the Mary Poppins song A Spoonful of Sugar from the 1964 classic flick, in which Dick starred as chimney sweep Bert alongside Julie Andrews.His other iconic roles include Caractacus Potts in Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, and of course the fame he achieved in his titular programme The Dick Van Dyke Show.He also returned for the sequel, Mary Poppins Returns, in 2018 - and wasn’t afraid to demonstrate his incredible moves.More recently, Dick has starred in everything from musical flick Buttons to two episodes of Kidding in 2020, with his latest role being as James Archer in Capture the Flag - which is in post-production according to IMDb.Dick met his wife Arlene - who is 46 years his junior - at the Screen Actors Guild Awards in 2007, when he was tasked with presenting his co-star Julie Andrews with a Lifetime Achievement Award.Arlene, a make-up artist, admitted the pair “got along immediately as friends”, and said their age difference doesn’t bother her - although Dick has spoken out about his worries over criticism.He told Closer Weekly: “I thought there would be an outcry about a gold digger marrying an old man.
