Sheryl Crow and Paul Rudd help raise money at Big Slick Celebrity Weekend in Kansas City
The Big Slick Celebrity Weekend in Kansas City, Missouri kicked off on Friday in person for the first time since 2019 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.The event is a fundraiser for the local Children's Mercy Cancer Center, and is hosted this year by four actors who grew up in the Kansas City area:Eric Stonestreet, Paul Rudd, Rob Riggle and David Koechner, according to the Kansas City Star.They were joined by about 30 celebrity guests, including musician Sheryl Crow, actors Adam Scott,James Van Der Beek, Ginger Gonzaga, Heidi Gardner, Richard Kind, Kat McNamara, Anthony Hill,Seth Herzog, as well as YouTuber Sean Evans, sports commentator Joe Tessitore and WWE wrestler Baron Corbin, among others. The Office's David Koechner charged with drink driving and hit-and-run incident
TMZ.According to the US site, David could face up to six months behind bars for each charge before adding that he could be given probation and a mandatory alcohol education course as it's his first offence.He is best known for playing Todd Packer in the US sitcom The Office as well as playing Champ Kind in the Anchorman movies.Speaking about his time with the show, he said: "There's a particular focus that everyone brings to this project, it happened the first time we were doing it and it happened the second time."Everyone's really dialled in on the part and trying to make every scene as good as it can be, in a genuine ensemble way, everybody is trying to make everybody else look good."The actor went on to describe the film as "Unbridled chaos and at one point, an absurd left turn."He also appeared on Saturday Night Live between 1995 and 1996 alongside comedian Nancy Walls and Adam McKay, admitting that he missed the programme having left after just one season.Speaking to Breeze TV about his experience, he said: "SNL is an exciting place, there's something new every week that's going to be unexpected."You're going to create something that week that will only exist that week with that group of people and that time, which is a lot of fun."Daily Star has approached David's representatives for comment.
