Sir David Attenborough has urged world leaders to take action on climate change now or it will be ‘too late’ ahead of COP26 in Glasgow.
The broadcaster said that the richest countries in the world have a ‘moral responsibility’ to aid the world’s poorest, which will be most impacted by a climate catastrophe.
His words come just days before the beginning of the COP26 climate change conference. The 95-year-old historian was named the People’s Advocate for the summit which kicks off from this Sunday.
