Harry Potter's magic isn't just in the spells and potions, but the incredible flying Quidditch scenes, the underwater shots in The Goblet of Fire and the violent 'curses' which throw bodies off walls and castle roofs.
And while Daniel Radcliffe tried his hand at some of these stunts, the person taking these hits were his stunt double for eight of the Harry Potter films, David Holmes who started on set at just 17-years-old.
However, tragedy would strike in 2009 when David suffered a horrific neck injury while rehearsing a flying scene and was paralysed from the chest down - only feeling limited movement in his hands and arms.
