A dad has been labelled as a "miracle" survivor after battling coronavirus, two strokes, pneumonia and sepsis and is to be studied by medical experts to help other victims recover.
Omar Taylor spent a month in intensive care after being diagnosed with coronavirus. The 31-year-old was placed on a ventilator which led to further complications, he had two blood clots in his brain which caused two strokes.
His devastated wife Karen, 30, thought she and their two young children, four-year-old Vivienne and two-year-old Harrison, would never see Omar again.
But the Care UK regional manager defied all the odds - and just last week, he walked off the stroke ward at Colchester Hospital in Essex, to a round of applause from the staff there.
