Da 5 Bloods viewers are calling for star Delroy Lindo to win an Oscar for his performance in the Spike Lee film. Netflix released the latest film from the BlacKkKlansman director last week and the Vietnam War epic has been praised by critics and audiences alike.

Spike Lee's latest follows four African-American war veterans return to Vietnam to find the remains of a fallen comrade ( Black Panther star Chadwick Boseman ) and also the prospect of some buried treasure.

Amongst the group is Paul (Delroy Lindo) who is struggling with a strained relationship with son David (Jonathan Majors) and is still dealing with the trauma he faced during the war.
