Filmmaker Spike Lee has issued an apology after supporting Woody Allen against the sexual abuse allegations, now stating his words were ‘wrong’. The Da 5 Bloods director received backlash after suggesting Woody, 84, does not deserve to be ‘cancelled’ over the historic allegations that he molested his adoptive daughter, Dylan Farrow, during her childhood.Woody has always vehemently denied the claims of which he has never been charged or convicted.

Now backtracking on his comments, Spike tweeted: ‘I Deeply Apologise. My Words Were WRONG. I Do Not And Will Not Tolerate Sexual Harassment, Assault Or Violence.
