When two couples turned up for their local open mic night, they may have been thinking a duet was in the offing. What they didn’t know is that they’d both strike a chord with each other’s partners.
Both couples then split up before the newly-single partners got together in a karaoke love swap. Heather Whiteley, 36, had been with Darren Smith, 23, for two years before they went along to the event at their local bowls club.
Heather said: “I met Darren through Facebook. He was sweet, understanding and easy to talk to. “We were always up for a laugh so when we saw there was a karaoke evening being held at the bowls club, we agreed to go together. “I love a bit of karaoke and it sounded like fun.” While there they got talking to another couple
