A couple who stopped in a no parking area for 15 seconds have been threatened with court action after they refused to pay the £100 fee, according to reports.
Paula Gundry from Sparham in Norfolk claims she stopped briefly on Surrey Street, Norwich, to drop off her husband Craig Knights for work.
Cameras from parking company National Parking Enforcement (NPE) show that they stopped in their car for 15 seconds, according to reports.
But after the incident in October last year, the couple have received a number of letters from NPE and their solicitors threatening them with court action after they refused to pay the £100 fee within two weeks, the Eastern Daily Press said.
