Emmerdale and Coronation Street are ITV's longest-running soaps, and they share a surprising marital connection.Having joined the Manchester-set soap in 1986, Sally Webster actress Sally Dynevor is a Weatherfield legend, but her husband's soap allegiances lie elsewhere.Dancing on Ice star Sally, 58, is actually married to Tim Dynevor, who worked as an Emmerdale scriptwriter from 1995 - 2016.

The couple have been happily married since 1995 and share three children together.Tim has also worked as a scriptwriter on a number of projects over the years, with his other writing credits including work on last year's Channel 5 drama, The Drowning.One of the couple's famous offspring is burgeoning Hollywood starlet, Phoebe Dynevor.The 26-year-old became a household name after starring as Daphne in the first season of Netflix period drama Bridgerton.She will return in Bridgerton's second season which drops to the streamer in March and has also been cast in projects including Exciting Times, I Heart Murder and Fair Play.Both Sally and Tim having enjoyed success in their respective fields, with Sally becoming the recipient of two British Soap Awards in 2015 and 2016 respectively.In 2008, Tim was nominated for a BAFTA for his work in Emmerdale.Tim also stuck by Sally when the actress was diagnosed with cancer in 2009.Speaking about how Tim supported her through the health scare, Sally recently told The Big Issue: "I was very lucky during that time of having cancer, because my husband is really strong."And he would say, we're going to make this into a positive time."After chemo, we're going to go for walks, or we're going to watch this box set."We're going to enjoy the time that we have just relaxing and not worrying about.
