Sport Relief host Gary Lineker opened the BBC fundraiser show by sharing a powerful message about Coronavirus. Former footballing star Gary, 59, opened the show tonight by addressing the outbreak which has caused concern across the nation.
He said, referring to the pandemic: "Sport Relief has never been more important" especially with "so many vulnerable people" right now.
Later in the show, a choir featuring pensioners and young children from Wales were set to perform, however Gary Lineker announced that due to risks of coronavirus, the elderly choir members wouldn't be there to sing.
