Gary Lineker slams Tottenham move to cut staff pay amid coronavirus pandemic

Gary Lineker slammed former club Tottenham after the Premier League side announced they would reduce non-playing staff's salaries by 20% amid the coronavirus pandemic.

Tottenham are to furlough 550 members of their non-playing staff, which will see the Government pay 80% of their wages. They are among four Premier League clubs to do so - whilst their players' lucrative pay deals remain intact.
