Ibiza has confirmed its first case of coronavirus after an Italian tourist visiting the holiday island tested positive for the disease.
This case in Ibiza is the seventh of Covid-19 in Spain's Balearic Islands, and the first to be confirmed in the party island popular with British holidaymakers.
The first six were all recorded in Mallorca. The man, described as middle-aged, has been admitted to an isolation room in the Can Misses hospital in Ibiza town where his condition has been described as "good".
He is from northern Italy and presented symptoms when he was visiting the island. The man had notified the local health emergency service that he had a fever and a cough.
