The suspect, who was wearing a Burberry scarf, then made off on foot towards Closeburn Street.The man was rushed to Glasgow Royal Infirmary were he remains for treatment.Yesterday we told how officers sealed off part of the road and launched an investigation.
As of 9.40pm cops were still in the area that remained cordoned off to members of the public.This suspect is described as white, of slim build and in his late 20s, early 30s.
