RUTH Langsford and husband Eamonn Holmes are set to return to the This Morning sofa next month when regular hosts Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield take a break.

Fans of the couple were devastated when they lost their Friday morning slots on the show, but will be delighted they are back for the school holidays.

Speaking about her return, Ruth told OK! Magazine: “We’ll be doing seven weeks from July. I’m looking forward to it.” Ruth and Eamonn had presented Friday's episode of This Morning since 2006 - but after a shake-up they are now only called in during the school holidays when the main hosts enjoy some well-earned time off.
