rum. Neil Toomey, of Whitmore Avenue, Brislington, claims he cannot remember why he called 999 twice and ranted at the police control room operators.

The former security officer, 41, pleaded guilty to grossly offensive communications when he appeared at Bristol Magistrates' Court on Thursday (June 10).

On April 13 he shouted abuse including "you f*****g s***t" and "if you don't do your f*****g job, I will". Toomey told Bristol Live he felt his fine from the court was unfair, he said: "I owe them £200 now." Asked if he was sorry, he replied: "Of course I am.

Nobody likes to be sworn at and shouted at."And I'm not a bad person. I've got mental health issues, I'm an alcoholic, but I'm not a bad person.
