Councillors have voted to refuse planning permission for a THIRD Costa Coffee in Dumbarton, after the chain's proposal received more than 400 objections.Costa had submitted proposals for a drive-through cafe in the car park of Morrisons on Glasgow Road, sparking fears from local business owners that it could force them out of business.Speaking to the Lennox last month Gayle McCallum, who owns You'll Love Our Home Bakes in Dumbarton East, said: "We’re still struggling day-to-day to recover from Covid.“If Costa don’t get their application approved then they’ll survive.
