Cade Cust will take inspiration from Jackson Hastings as he bids to help transform Wigan Warriors into Super League title contenders.
Cust has arrived from Manly Sea Eagles, where he played with Hastings in the reserve grade, to replace the 2019 Steve Prescott Man of Steel winner.
Hastings has joined NRL side Wests Tigers along with England centre Oliver Gildart but Cust is confident he can successfully guide Matty Peet’s men around the park.
