Laura Whitmore's BBC Radio 5 replacement has been revealed as Helen Skelton. It was recently confirmed the Love Island host, 37, would not be returning to her Sunday show after the current season of the ITV show ends in August. BBC Radio 5 Live's Twitter account posted that Countryfile star Helen, 39, would be taking over Laura's slot next month.

Helen Skelton has been confirmed as the new host of a Radio 5 Live Sunday morning slot after current presenter Laura Whitmore announced her departure earlier this week. Helen, 39, began her presenting career on Blue Peter in 2008, before going on to present BBC One’s Countryfile, a role she has held since 2014. On Wednesday it was announced that the Irish presenter, 37, would be leaving her self-titled Sunday morning show after four years.
