Colourful character visits Lanarkshire parks to give kids road safety lessons

Children were treated to a special storytelling session at Calderglen Country Park in East Kilbride from loveable Road Safety Scotland character Ziggy.

The visit was part of a nationwide, Ziggy’s Big Day Out, tour of country parks in Scotland. It will help equip children and parents with the skills, knowledge and attitudes that will keep children safe on our roads now and in later life.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
