The supermarket giant has promised to drop prices of 150 products Australian shoppers can’t stop buying and keep the prices locked at the new affordable figure.
With the new ‘Dropped & Locked’ scheme, staple grocery items like meat, beverages and household essentials have had their prices slashed by up to 40 per cent.
Steggles Chicken Tenders were $10 for 400g and have now dropped to $6, while a 1.25L bottle of Pepsi is 40 per cent cheaper at $1.50 instead of $2.50.
Snack lovers will notice that Cadbury King Size Bars are almost dollar cheaper at $1.80 instead of the original price of $2.50 and Coles Beef Scotch Fillet will now set you back $16 for 400g rather than $19.
