Southern Charm personality Naomie Olindo has responded to a fraud lawsuit filed by her one-time work associate Virginia 'Ginny' Cox, claiming that Cox stole from her fashion company L’Abeye and tried to extort money with her subsequent suit.In a counterclaims filing reviewed by Page Six Thursday, Olindo, 30, said that Cox 'filed this defamatory lawsuit with the intention of extorting money through a set of claims that are knowingly false,' after she was terminated from the company 'for employee theft and other misconduct.'Olindo claimed Cox had hacked into her computer and gained access to her American Express account (used for Olindo's personal and business endeavors) and used credit card points to buy a Florida vacation.

Olindo was pictured earlier this month in NYC Olindo said in court docs that Cox had stolen goods from her clothing company and sold them to nearby consignment shops while pocketing the money.Olindo told the court that with the suspicions in mind, she installed a security camera in her office on May 18, 2022, which she said Cox had 'disabled' in a matter of minutes.
Olindo's court filing included an affidavit from L’Abeye marketing director Madison Acee, who said, she saw Cox 'on multiple occasions purchase items and incur charges on the company card and referencing "not caring" what Naomie thinks while doing so.'Acee said of Cox: 'She would push the company card [on] me and tell me to use it to fill up gas in my car.'
