Newcastle United and Chelsea star is still missing after two earthquakes struck Turkey and Syria.Atsu, 31, has not been located since the 7.8 magnitude earthquake hit south-eastern Turkey and northern Syria last Monday, followed by a second of 7.5.
The Ghanaian international, who plays for Turkish club Hatayspor, was reported missing after his teammates and the team's members of staff were pulled out from the rubble.False reports emerged last week that Atsu was in hospital after being found safe.

I am at the quake site in Hatay with Christian's family. The scenes are unimaginable and our hearts are broken for all the people affected."During my time here we have been able to locate Christian Atsu's exact room location, and we have found two pairs of his shoes."Yesterday we received confirmation that thermal imagery was showing signs of up to five lives, however, I am told that the only real confirmation of life is through sight, smell and sound, and unfortunately we were not able to locate Christian."More than 37,000 people are believed to have died as a result of the devastating quakes.
