Coldplay have announced that they will stop making music in 2025 after their long run in the industry since 1996 when they first got together.Frontman Chris Martin, 44, appeared on BBC Radio 2 yesterday (Wednesday 22 December) to talk about another upcoming album for the award-winning group, when he let slip of the news.He said: "Our last proper record will come out in 2025, and after that I think we will only tour."And maybe we'll do some collaborative things but the Coldplay catalogue, as it were, finishes then."This comes after the multi-talented band released their ninth studio album just two months ago, Music of the Spheres, which they are touring in 2022.
