Chris Martin has announced that Coldplay will stop releasing music in a band in 2025. Martin made the surprise admission in a trailer for his upcoming Christmas show with DJ Jo Whiley on BBC Radio 2.
But for those of you who have been paying attention, the news isn't really news at all. Just this year, the band teased to NME that they would stop releasing music after putting out their 12th album.
But now it seems like the guys have put a finite date to their promise. Speaking to Jo, Martin said: "Our last proper record will come out in 2025, and after that I think we will only tour.
